Children in the Montessori environment, from the first days of confusion, quickly connect with the environment and learning materials through the loving and clear guidance of the teacher. Children become interested in learning, always cheerful, happy and have a strong desire to discover for themselves. Children are given the conditions to maximize their potential and sources of strength within themselves. From there, children have a deep awareness of the knowledge they learn and the worldview around them.

Nurtured by a journey of love, Montessori children not only have knowledge and intelligence, but also have emotional balance. Children establish sensitivity, as well as self-awareness and a deep connection with things around them. Children learn that everything that exists in this universe serves its own needs and thereby also contributes to the existence of other entities. With their deep understanding and feelings, children truly become compassionate and respectable people.

Montessori children learn and approach everything under the guidance of their own inner teacher. Children have the maturity, stability, autonomy, independence and strong will to confidently enter an ever-changing world. This independence and autonomy comes from the environment, adults, and learning materials truly allowing children to do, think, and act on their own. So we are often not surprised that adults always feel a sense of ooh and aah when observing an authentic Montessori environment.

Montessori children truly know who they are, truly choose and do everything for themselves, something that many of us teenagers and adults are always struggling to find. Children establish sensitivity, self-awareness and a deep connection with everything around them, so that they can enjoy and fully enjoy every moment they have.
